EXPLORATION FORUM: Engaging Critical Thinking with Collaboration
Enrichment Triad System

The Enrichment Triad System consists of three interrelated types of enrichment:
  • o Type I – general exploratory activities (enrichment)
  • o Type II – group training activities (process)
  • o Type III – individual and small-group investigations of real problems (product).
A student may move sequentially through the progression of their learning or may bounce from one "Type" to another as more information and inquiry is needed. This model creates autonomous learners who learn to help themselves and seek information needed and desired. Below are links to Enrichment Triad System examples and resources that address the philosophical and pedagogical underpinnings of this collaboration strategy.
