Objectives:

To clarify the role of the PIIC coach and the BDA coaching model
To evaluate the current status of the PIIC program in our schools
To revise the 2013-14 group action plan
To identify strategies for building relationships with teachers
To identify those strategies that will make for successful "first encounters"
To share successful literacy strategies for use in coaching
To apply literacy strategies to non-text content
To evaluate and demonstrate the Learning Communities standard for professional learning (Learning Forward)
To begin formulating goals and training agendas for the coming year
