In-service Indiana 1/16/12They made it optional to attend. Teachers came by department. 20 minute presentation. They included 4 lenses. Built in PLN strategies, BDA, Please do Now, avoided the word coach...used instead partnership. Discussion questions included, "Can these kids read? Is anyone listening to me?" Lead discussion with, Isn't it nice to sit down with other teachers? Wondered if it would be less threatening if interested teachers could come to the coaches classroom and observe them first.
Main Goal for Next Meeting: Create BDAs for coaching...or A set of BDA's for coaching.
Question concerning the final meeting date for PLN. Its listed in March on one document and in April in another. Query sent to Diane.
Discussion within our groups concerning our PLN Course final project. Shared out with other groups what we're planning on doing.
Decision concerning which community we wish to use: the SAS community website or wikispaces.We chose wikispaces.
